Recipes for families with children under 5 (Not weaning specific)


  1. Green pasta
Spelt pasta

Pesto:
2 handfuls spinach 
1/2 handful fresh basil
50ml olive oil
2 tablespoons plain yogurt (I use keffir to get an extra kick of probiotics)
50 gems Pistachios, unsalted and roughly chopped 

Chopped garlic, 2 cloves
Chopped asparagus

To serve:
Basil leaves 
Chopped pistachios 
Sprinkle grated Parmesan (optional)

  1. Blend pesto ingredients together and season to taste 
  2. Boil water and cook pasta 
  3. Gentle fry garlic in olive oil
  4. When the oil has become aromatic and you can smell the garlic, just before it browns, add the asparagus 
  5. Once softened set aside
  6. Add cooked pasta 
  7. Stir through pesto
  8. Serve with sprinkle of pistachos and basil leaves, Parmesan optional
